Alignment
What is Alignment?
Alignment is the measure of how well each element of a course will synergize with the others to support the desired learning outcomes. Ensuring the learning objectives, assessments, and activities effectively work together to help the learner succeed.
Why Alignment is Important
Not only does this provide evidence that the objectives, activities, and assessments are appropriate for the learning goals, but with those elements properly aligned, a framework for the course is established. This also provides assurances for the learners, that their time and effort are being applied effectively.
Need & Intervention
The ID team for Stout Online needs an efficient and effective method for on-boarding new team members. The current method is piecemeal, often as need arises and when supervisors are available. This adversely effects productivity due to inconsistent competencies among assistant team members. The proposed solution is a digital training module focusing on the use and application of the project workflow and task management processes, as well as team communication channels and standards.
Delivery
Delivery method will be blended; consisting of a PowerPoint tutorial and online activities, augmented with in person demonstrations and supervisor instruction upon request.

Mastery Quiz
Short form response. (Delayed human feedback- Graded via Rubric).
Enabling Objective 2
Match examples of communications with their appropriate channels.
Review
Info-Graphic / Flowchart outlining communication channels and intended use.

Presentation
Live demonstration of one communication channel used by the team - describe three use cases for that channel. (Delayed human feedback - Graded via Rubric).
